“What’s that?!” I screamed when I saw the workstation photo (posted below). See that little Gelée sitting on the table? Looks remarkably like the Modern Mercury highlight powder doesn’t it?! Apparently this one is supposed to be a bronzing (!) powder due out this January. Also, what’s up with the new Gelée EyeShadows? Um… Yes please!
I know the Modern Mercury highlighter sold out SO quickly (though you can still find it on some department store websites), maybe this will give folks a second chance at a similar product. Here’s hoping the bronzer will be just as cool as the highlighter! is that reverse eye makeup? Is it becoming a trend to apply bronzes and taupes on brow bones instead of creases??
I haven’t really seen it trending on runway looks I’ve seen… but I don’t notice stuff like that too much anyway :P LOL With a look that’s this fair, I think the dark color looks more like a frosty contour, giving a highlight effect in a way I suppose. Hmm… What do you think? Does it look too strange? I’m on the fence :)
it doesnt look strange on the runways but i am not sure whether I would do a look like this on anyone in real life or in editorials…….Tom Pecheux has always been futuristic in his approach to makeup so I leaves me as stunned as always to come up with a trend like this…You never know if this is something that makeup future holds for all makeup madmen like us!
