Estée Lauder Lavish Pink Pure Color Crystal Lipstick is part of the Limited Edition Pink Ribbon Collection available through October 2011. It’s an amazingly pretty, ultra soft, moisture-rich, sheer pink with a soft sparkle! (I thought ALL that would sound better than, “This is SO PRETTY!”) 

Goldilocks would LOVE this lipstick. Lavish Pink is JUUUST RIGHT. It’s not too warm or too cool. It’s bright but not TOO bright (for those who might be afraid) and the sparkle I refer to isn’t frost or glitter, just a light champagne shimmer that mostly takes a back seat to the product’s high-shine formula. Estée Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipsticks come in two finishes: Satin Crème (basically a creamy flat finish) and Lustrous Shimmer (frost). They offer medium to full coverage in a luxuriously smooth, ultra-pigmented formula and are one of the most moisturizing lipsticks I’ve ever used. Pure Color Crystal Lipsticks offer sheer to medium coverage and are also available in two finishes: Sheer Shine (flat) and Brilliant Shimmer (shimmery frost). Pure Color Crystal Lipsticks are every bit as luxe feeling as their Long Lasting cousin, just in a sheerer formula. I see around 4-6 hours of wear from all formulas, with the darker, more opaque shades being the longest lasting. Like most of Estée Lauder’s lip products, these are fig scented.
